1st Alrewas Scouts is based in the picturesque village of Alrewas, on the A38 between Barton Under Needwood and Fradley. We have a good-sized scout hall which has seen many a scout come and go over the years. At present we have almost 80 members in Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
We are not sure of the exact origins of our Scout Group. We have some newspaper clippings and photos from down the years, and there is a plaque in All Saints Church in memory of the members of 1st Alrewas Troop of Scouts who fought and died in the First World War.
